Finally, finally, finally. This will be my last post on this blog. It's been a wild ride. I'm so happy I had the surgery. No more migraines and I learned so much about pain management and sacrificing in the short term for long-term gain. Please reach out to me if you have any questions about the surgery! Cheers!

dramatic, cheesy, horrible selfy butttttttt I feel like it gives a good idea of how my face is doing. still a little puffy lip and under the eyes. I get tingling under my eyes now. I had my first pretzel yesterday. exciting stuff. my next appointment is March 5th.

Big smile. can't wait to get these things off!!!!!!!!!  This week has been tough. I was sick and on antibiotics and had some pain in my front incisor. But I'm feeling better! And life is so so beautiful.

sorry I haven't written in a while. the past few weeks have been crazy busy. Still not feeling up to speed but I notice leaps and bounds every week. this week, I came down with a cold. womp. still feeling pretty swollen underneath my eyes and in my cheeks. I have some feeling back in the space between my nose and lip. my orthodontist estimates I'll get my braces off in May or June, but definitely before Kenya. yay! I am just taking one day at a time at this point, taking a heavy course load and preparing for the MCAT and med school. I could not be more excited about the months that lie ahead.
